Our History

Chestnut Middle School was established in 1998 with a vision to provide exceptional education to the youth of Springfield. Over the decades, we have grown into a premier educational institution known for academic excellence and community involvement.

Originally built as a small neighborhood school, Chestnut has expanded to serve over 200 students annually. Our campus has undergone multiple renovations to provide state-of-the-art facilities while preserving the historic charm of our original building.
